Hairdo and Tasty Sensation

If you are a HSBC credit card holder and if you need a hair cut + hair dye, you can go to Centro at The Gardens Cocoon area, get it done for only RM99.90. Promo last till end of year. And if you don't have a HSBC credit card, there's a roadshow at MidValley and you can apply for one there. Which I did for the card :P

I met up with SK and William this morning. I say can the hair dye done on SK hair was stunning! And tempted me to have that too. William had an appointment with Centro for the same promo package and while William get his hair done, SK and I just wander around MidValley and The Gardens. His hair was well styled and the hair color was nice too. A bit darker than the copper brown on SK but still looks good.

3 of us had brunch at Canton-i at the LG level of The Gardens. My first time there. Good business. William had the pork ribs wanton noodles, SK had the shrimp wanton noodles and I had the pork congee. The shrimp dumplings were excellent. Each dumpling has this big tangy shrimp while the pork ribs although a bit dry but has good flavor, while the congee was smooth without the lumpy rice feeling and the pork liver, stomach, kidney, pork balls (not that balls!) and other was just nicely done, not overcooked!

William had this tea, has this flower bud in a hot water and slow opening, revealing an appendage floating up to the surface. First time seeing this kind of tea, and I didn't catch the name in the menu.

While waiting for our seats; flower tea is blooming.

pork congee, shrimp wanton noodle, pork rib wanton noodle.
