The highly expected movie was here last last week. It was so crazy till the whole GSC cinema website bandwidth was choked to the max with ticket booking/purchase requests. And the movie went on-screen and exploded with a whimper! Ha!Generally it was OK and the movie was action packed. All the missiles, huge robots and human size robots. Banging from the start till the end. I was very intrigued by those mysterious symbols and all the long stories behind it. But as it dragged from the meat shop to the museum, it went too draggy. And the fighting scenes at the dessert was too much. Some scenes can be cut. I was like 'OMG, when is this fighting gonna end, and get on with it'. During the fighting scenes, at some moments, I was lost which were the Autobots and Decepticons. Their colors are almost the same.
On the good side, I enjoyed the new character. Sam's roomate. He's hilarious. And that butcher guy. I forgot his name. Ames commented there were 2 touching scenes in the movie, which I've totally lost it. Perhaps it was the scene when Sam was talking to BumbleBee in the garage about going to college. The next one, I guess must be the dying moments of Optimus Prime. I enjoyed the fighting scenes but just not too much of it.
I kinda like Starscream. He's just so cunning. His evil intentions was obvious in the Transformer cartoon series. And of course Bumblebee is great. Dinobots are just too dumb!

It's a great action movie with bad storyline. It's got so many plot holes that left me like WTF(?).
Don't wana spoil it for your readers but the part where someone died n went up to "robot" heaven? Like, huh? Robot heaven? Seriously?? lol.
Anyway, I almost jumped w joy at the part where Prime died. I much prefer Hot Rod as the Autobots leader as he is less of a sissy than Prime. But of coz, that didn't happen :(
erm
i think it is a bit draggy also
but i think it is nice
cause..
the effects of the robot fighting is so great
overall.it is nice
I didn't quite enjoy the first movie so I really don't know about this one. But will still watch it at a later date : )
I have watch it too last Wednesday. Yeah! The crowd is so crazy here in Malacca. So much so that me and my wife sat on the 2nd row. haha :D
This is a good movie I guess. It does has its shortcomings but it is an entertaining movie...and surely better than a lot of movies in the cinema. :D
Eh! *cover eyes*! Not going to read any review! Reminded me or when I did the Terminator 4 one haha.
Well, I am going to watch it tonight. Will see what I got to say to it. Some people say "WOW GOOD!" some went "eh not nice.." Well, guess it is different people, different opinion. Now lets see what am I going to think about it after tonight :).
Its entertaining but agreed with the fact that watching two block of metals fighting each other can be really confusing though. Storyline was good but too many scenes stuffed into 2 and half hours movie.It will be perfect if they make a drama series out of the same storyline.
yeah, the storyline is a bit lame, but the action seems to entertain us a lot..
i remembered that day everyone applauded at the cinema, lol
i will watch this one eventually, i am usually a yr behind everybody in terms of movies sometimes decades :)
Aha! I agree almost totally with you on your review.
Aha, I thought the touching parts would be Sam's and his girlfriend separating or something.
Meh, didn't have too much of touching elements, really.
there is no Dinobots in the movie xD
Basedo n the cartoon, I would never describe Starscream as cunning.
totally overrated la i think..
just okay only.. lol =P
I love the first show very much, maybe because I watch it as if I'm still a kids, dun think of it so rasionally.
@anonymous: hope u have watched it, not really a spoiler...
@kelvin: most of the bloggers have the same opinion as you.
@VC: yeah.. i still remember vividly the cartoon part...
@perky: ha ha ha.. robot heaven. I almost forgot about that.. all the Primes. That's why Optimus is too soft too be the bad guys
@nic: no doubt the effects are nice.
@foongpc: looking fwd to your review.
@tekkaus: 2nd row!! really so eager to catch it earlier eh... made for pure entertainment.
@ladyviral: watched it? how ?
@susan: series? i prefer the cartoon series.
@sirei: applauded? I thought that only happens in Star Wars movie.
@bengbeng: hope u catch it.
@tiffany: ooohh....
@bernard: erm.... in the cartoons :p
@william: hmmm.. maybe i chose the wrong word.
@kenwooi: same opinion here :)
@michi: yeah.. true.
Yep I have seen it.. I think it was good especially the action and story line.
Well, only didn't like the part of where the robots were lacking because they try to introduce more robots but ended up not doing a detail of them... those robots were like outcasted. They did too much far screen of them figthing (well they had to because of the massive robot addition thing) so it ended up, I think a lot of people were confused which robot is which.
So eventually a lot more people prefers the first Transformer because it was showing more of the robots.
But in my opinion, the cartoon of Transformers is the same as the movie too. Alot of robots fighting and screen either goes far view or a lot of random screens :P.
Wow long comment haha. Sorry for spamming ^^;
hehehe it's good to hear I'm not the only one who feels this movie sucks :p
@ladyviral: ooohh.... good explanation.
@boris: majority of us.
